The UAE hosts a busy calendar of cybersecurity events, from major exhibitions in Dubai to government-backed summits in Abu Dhabi. Below are seven to plan for in 2027. Some organizers have not yet published 2027 dates; for those we give the most recent edition and will update this list as dates are announced.
1. TechNext AI & Cybersecurity Summit 2027
- Dates: 6 February 2027
- Venue: Pullman Dubai Downtown, Dubai

A summit for CIOs, CISOs, and technology leaders focused on AI security, cyber defence, and data protection, with more than 40 speakers and the TechNext AI & Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2027. See the agenda or book a delegate pass.
2. GISEC Global 2027
- Dates: 4–6 May 2027
- Venue: Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai

A dedicated cybersecurity exhibition and conference, now held at Expo City Dubai. The organizers say it brings together more than 25,000 information security leaders, CISOs, and ethical hackers from over 180 countries.
3. Intersec 2027
- Dates: 12–14 January 2027
- Venue: Dubai World Trade Centre
- Organizer: Messe Frankfurt Middle East

A large trade show for security, safety, and defence. It is most useful for teams responsible for physical as well as digital security, such as critical infrastructure and facility operators.
4. GITEX Global 2027 and GITEX Cyber Valley
- Dates: December 2027, exact dates to be announced (the 2026 edition runs 7–11 December 2026)
- Venue: Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai (2026 edition)

Dubai’s flagship technology week, covering AI, cloud, and startups. Its dedicated cybersecurity zone, GITEX Cyber Valley, is where most of the security content sits.
5. Government Cybersecurity Summit
- Dates: 2027 dates to be announced (the third edition was held on 9 June 2026)
- Venue: Conrad Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi (2026 edition)
- Host: UAE Cyber Security Council; organized by Intellicon Events

A conference on cybersecurity for the UAE government and public sector, held under the theme “Securing the UAE’s Digital Future”.
6. CYSEC UAE
- Dates: 2027 dates to be announced (the 2026 edition was held on 22 October 2026)

A national cybersecurity summit bringing together security leaders from government and industry in Abu Dhabi.
7. CyberFirst UAE Summit
- Dates: 2027 dates to be announced (the 2026 edition took place in Abu Dhabi in early 2026)

A one-day, high-level summit on national cyber resilience and digital trust for CISOs, government authorities, and technology leaders, with sessions on AI and cloud security, zero trust, and threat intelligence.
Why the UAE Matters for Cybersecurity
Ambitious digital government programs, large critical infrastructure projects, and a strong financial sector help make the UAE a natural meeting point for security leaders from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Government bodies such as the UAE Cyber Security Council host or back several of the events above, which makes them useful for anyone selling to or working with the public sector.
