Biography
Montserrat Ventosa Garcia Morato is an Organisational Psychologist (MSc), EMBA, and Human Performance Architect with over three decades of international leadership experience at the intersection of culture, strategy, and transformation.
She was part of the early HR leadership team during Inditex’s exponential global growth and has held senior executive roles across Europe and Latin America, including VP of Talent, Culture and Wellbeing at Tecnológico de Monterrey. There, she contributed to the development of Tecmilenio as one of the world’s first “Positive Universities,” embedding wellbeing and performance into institutional strategy and employability outcomes.
She has collaborated with global brands such as Dior and co-founded Great Place to Work® in Europe, helping introduce and shape modern workplace culture conversations at scale. Through her consulting firm Grooooow, which she led for over a decade, she has advised more than 500 organisations across industries, influencing transformation initiatives impacting over two million employees.
Montserrat is also the founder of the Happyshifting movement, an approach focused on restoring organisational vitality in complex and fast-changing environments. Her work integrates behavioural science, performance psychology, and systems thinking to help organisations sustain momentum during technological and structural disruption. She authored one of the early European books on managing cultural diversity, sponsored by Bertelsmann and introduced by Liz Mohn, one of Europe’s most influential business leaders. She has been recognised among the Top 100 Women Leaders in Spain and Mexico.
The first person in her extended family to obtain a university degree, Montserrat combines academic depth, entrepreneurial leadership, and lived experience in global transformation. She currently serves as Academic Program Chair at the Higher Colleges of Technology (UAE), aligning human capital development with future workforce readiness in the AI era.
